ACEN Renewable Energy Solutions (ACEN RES) has partnered with Valerie Products Manufacturing, Inc. (VSO), a Philippine manufacturer specializing in automotive and appliance parts, as it transitions to 100% renewable energy (RE).

Under the arrangement, the firm will acquire its electricity from the varied range of renewable energy sources offered by ACEN, which includes geothermal, wind, and solar power.

“We are proud to welcome Valerie Products Manufacturing to our growing list of customers

who are choosing renewable energy…ACEN is committed to providing energy solutions that help businesses achieve their business and sustainability goals,” said ACEN RES Vice President for Commercial Operations and Head of Account Management Sheila Mina.

Valerie’s transition to renewable energy has been rendered achievable by the Green Energy Option Program (GEOP), which enables electricity users with a peak monthly demand of at least 100 kW to buy RE supplies from their chosen renewable energy provider.

Moreover, the GEOP initiative will ensure that companies reduce their electricity expenses while actively promoting the growth and application of renewable energy sources in the Philippines.

“We are excited to partner with ACEN RES to power our operations with renewable energy…This transition aligns with our commitment to sustainability and environmental responsibility and will allow us to reduce our carbon footprint while potentially lowering our electricity costs,” said Valerie Products Manufacturing president Edward Jose.
