Buskowitz Energy, Inc. (BEI) is ramping up its renewable energy portfolio with plans to construct solar rooftop projects with a combined capacity of 30 megawatts (MW).
In a report by Business World, BEI CEO James Buskowitz shared that the projects will span 12 sites, catering to 12 clients, and are being implemented simultaneously.
The company recently secured an investment deal worth up to USD 100 million with global asset manager PATRIZIA MBK Fund Management Pty Ltd. (PMBK).
Buskowitz said that this partnership allows the firm to focus on execution and deliver as many megawatts to the Philippine market as possible while benefiting from PMBK’s financial support.
By year-end, BEI aims to partially commission 9 MW of solar capacity, with an additional 20 MW slated for completion two months later.
Buskowitz emphasized the company’s commitment to sustainability and renewable energy development, noting that the solar rooftop segment represents a vast, underserved market.
BEI specializes in solar rooftop development, offering services such as engineering, procurement, construction, and financing. To date, it has completed over 300 installations for residential, commercial, and industrial facilities in the Philippines.
PATRIZIA MBK Fund Management is a joint venture between Germany-based PATRIZIA SE and Japan’s Mitsui & Co., Ltd.
PATRIZIA’s head of Australia and Asia Infrastructure Saji Anantakrishnan said that there is immense potential in the solar market, and as the business continuously expands, the firm is also exploring additional land opportunities.
