Buskowitz Group installs 2.10MW solar to 16 schools

Buskowitz Group powers 16 campus nationwide with solar power as part of their goal to create a low carbon future for the generations to come.

Schools that were part of this were:  the John B. Lacson Foundation in Bacolod and Arevalo; St. Therese MTC College in Iloilo specifically their branches in La Fiesta, La Paz, and Tigbauan; the Universidad de Zamboanga’s Laboratory, High School, City Campus, and Summit building have all been outfitted with rooftop solar photovoltaic installations; along with the University of Iloilo.

Other colleges who have also invested in clean energy are Jose Maria College in Davao del Sur and the College of St. John in Roxas city and in Metro Manila, Arellano Law Foundation in Pasay city has taken steps to go solar as well.

Soon to join the green initiative with Buskowitz Group are the St. Paul University in Tugeugarao city, and the PHINMA Araullo University in Cabanatuan city, which will transition to utilizing solar power.

The capacity of the solar installations range from 45.24 kilowatt-peak to 300.30 kilowatt-peak capacity.

“It is the small steps we take to provide a quality education that will have a larger impact on the generations to come.  It is their basic right, but often cost factors into its accessibility and availability. If more schools adopt solar power, then perhaps in the long run, we’ll see those savings go into better services, lower costs, and create green-conscious leaders who will help shape the future,” Chief Executive Officer James Buskowitz said.
