Manila Electric Company (Meralco), along with its affiliates One Meralco Foundation and Meralco PowerGen Corporation, received a total of 20 awards at the 61st Anvil Awards. These include five Gold and 15 Silver recognitions.

The awards were presented during the ceremony held at Solaire Resort North in Quezon City, where Meralco was also named a finalist for the Company of the Year category.

The recognition covered a wide range of programs and initiatives. The considerations span from service reliability and customer communications, use of digital platforms, cybersecurity, renewable energy advocacy, corporate social responsibility, animal welfare, internal audit, to media and information literacy.

Awards were given not only for external campaigns but also for internal programs and governance-related initiatives, reflecting the wide spread of activities undertaken across the Meralco group.

The Anvil Awards, organized by the Public Relations Society of the Philippines (PRSP), recognize public relations programs, tools, and campaigns that demonstrate high standards of practice in the industry.
