NGCP declared alerts across the country, Visayas Grid on red alert

UPDATE (16:41): As of 4:30PM, the Red alert for the Visayas grid has been lifted.

However, the grid remains under Yellow alert from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and 8:00 PM to 9:00 PM.

The available capacity in the Visayas Grid is at 2,586 MW, while the peak demand is at 2,487 MW.

JUST IN |  The National Grid Corporation of the Philippines has declared alerts across the country. Visayas grid is on red alert. 

The yellow alert for the Luzon grid would take effect from 1:00PM to 5:00PM and 7:00PM to 10:00 PM.

Meanwhile, the Red alert for the Visayas grid would take effect from 3:00PM to 4:00PM, while the Yellow alert from 1:00PM to 3:00PM, 4:00PM to 7:00PM, and 8:00 to 9:00PM.

For the Mindanao grid, the yellow alert would take effect from 1:00PM to 3:00PM.
