Petron Foundation, Inc. (PFI), the corporate social responsibility arm of San Miguel-led Petron Corporation, continues to empower its Tulong Aaral ng Petron (TAP) college scholars by providing them with essential learning tools. Recently, PFI distributed brand-new laptops to its second-year TAP scholars from Bawing, General Santos; Jimenez, Misamis Occidental; and Tagoloan, Misamis Oriental in Mindanao.
The Foundation recently added ten new college scholars from Mindanao for Academic Year 2025-2026, further bridging educational gaps and creating equal opportunities for students across the Philippines.
These students, all of whom were also TAP beneficiaries in high school, represent a continued investment in uplifting the youth in Mindanao through long-term education support.
Petron’s TAP currently supports 20 college scholars and over 1,900 high school students. Since 2002, the program has empowered over 18,000 scholars nationwide, with a strong emphasis on extending educational opportunities to students in underserved areas like Mindanao.
