PWS, Prime Infra aid 1,200 storm victims in Porac

Prime Waste Solutions (PWS) Pampanga and Prime Infra Foundation mobilized a joint relief effort in Porac, Pampanga, aiding communities affected by recent heavy rains. Around 1,200 residents from Barangays Planas, Pio, Calantas, and Camias received essential supplies.

Each relief pack included 2 kilograms of rice, canned goods, instant noodles, and coffee. The distribution began on July 23, following a swift repacking operation led by 40 volunteers, including WASH Group members from Katutubo Village and youth leaders from Barangay Planas.

(“We prepared for our fellow residents in the barangays. Prime Waste Solutions is here to help them recover.”)

“This initiative forms part of our commitment to help strengthen the resilience of our host communities. It is important to show our support during these challenging times,” said Bernadette Tan, Prime Infra Foundation Programs and Operations Head.

Tan also said that additional support programs are in the pipeline, including livelihood and sustainability initiatives.

Barangay Planas officials welcomed the assistance. (“We thank Prime Waste Solutions for voluntarily providing assistance to our community. We accept it and wholeheartedly express our gratitude for the help they are giving to our fellow barangay residents.”)

(“I just want to thank Prime Waste Solutions for the relief goods given to those affected by the flooding here in Planas… I hope you can help many more people.”)

PWS Pampanga operates the only large-scale materials recovery facility (MRF) in Luzon and is part of Enrique K. Razon Jr.’s Prime Infra group, which focuses on sustainable infrastructure solutions in energy, water, and waste management.
