Prime Infra, through its corporate social arm Prime Infra Foundation, has showcased its commitment to education and community resilience by supporting this year’s Brigada Eskwela program with over PHP5 million in funding and a nationwide mobilization of employee volunteers.
Held from June 9 to 13, 2025, the initiative reached 15 public schools across Batangas, Cavite, Cebu, Laguna, Pampanga, and Rizal. This benefited nearly 10,000 students and 400 teachers. The company’s involvement focused on preparing schools for the upcoming academic year while focusing particularly on health, safety, and disaster preparedness.
Among the activities were classroom repainting, facility cleaning, minor repairs, and the distribution of school supplies and equipment. Notably, Prime Infra also conducted medical missions for teachers in Cebu and Rizal. This reflects the broadened scope of support that now includes educator well-being.
In Laguna, Pakil Senior High School received emergency kits and safety hats to improve the school’s disaster readiness. Similar items were also provided to a day care center in Barangay Gonzales. Teachers and community workers expressed gratitude for the support, citing improved safety and preparedness as critical necessities as schools gear up for reopening.
“This year, we also prioritized the well-being of our teachers to help them prepare for the responsibilities of another school year,” the Prime Infra Foundation stated.
Prime Infra has always participated in Brigada Eskwela since 2023. This makes a huge part of their grander mission to build socially relevant infrastructure and support sustainable development goals. The company, led by Filipino businessman Enrique K. Razon Jr., focuses on energy, clean water access, and waste management while promoting inclusive economic growth and climate resilience.
