Prime Infra Foundation has allocated PHP 8.1 million to support the Department of Education’s Brigada Eskwela program for School Year 2026-2027, providing digital connectivity, infrastructure improvements, and learning resources to public schools across its host communities.
The initiative benefited more than 11,000 students, teachers, and non-teaching personnel in 40 schools located in Batangas, Cavite, Laguna, Rizal, Pampanga, and Cebu City, according to Prime Infra.
From June 1 to 5, employees and volunteers from Prime Infra and its subsidiaries—including Ahunan Power, Manila Water, Olympia Violago Water and Power, Prime Solar, and Prime Waste—participated in the annual school rehabilitation and preparation program.
A key component of this year’s effort was the expansion of digital access in schools. Prime Infra Foundation installed Starlink satellite internet connectivity in 12 schools in Pakil, Laguna to improve access to online learning resources and support technology-enabled education.

In Rizal, the foundation donated computer-equipped learning hubs and upgraded existing solar power systems in partner schools to help provide a more reliable power supply and improve learning conditions for students.
Meanwhile, schools in Cavite received a multipurpose vehicle and other equipment to support school operations. Public schools in Cebu City and Pampanga were provided with computers, laptops, printers, desks, chairs, armchairs, school supplies, and hygiene and medical kits.
In Tanauan, Batangas, the company also supported the repair and construction of covered walkways and carried out classroom and school building rehabilitation works, including cleaning, repainting, and refurbishment activities.
The program reflects the growing role of private-sector infrastructure companies in supporting education through digitalization and energy-related improvements in host communities.
“This school year, we ramped up our efforts to bridge the digital and infrastructural gaps in schools across our host communities to ensure that Filipino students have all the resources necessary for a conducive learning environment, helping them become future-ready,” Prime Infra Foundation said.

Prime Infra said its Brigada Eskwela initiatives have reached more than 47,000 beneficiaries since 2022.
This year’s Brigada Eskwela carries the theme “Bayanihan sa Paaralan: Nagkaisa para sa Kaayusan at Kaalaman,” highlighting collaboration among communities, schools, and private-sector partners to maintain safe and conducive learning environments.
