Aboitiz Power Corporation will redeem in full its 2018 Series C Bonds worth PHP2.5 billion ahead of their scheduled maturity.

The company’s Board of Directors approved the move during a special meeting on September 17, 2025. The bonds, which carried a fixed interest rate of 8.5091% per year, were originally set to run for ten years.

AboitizPower said the early redemption will be carried out on October 25, 2025 at a price of 102%, using funds raised from retail bonds the company issued earlier this year.

The company is coordinating with BDO Unibank, Inc. – Trust and Investments Group, which serves as trustee, and the Philippine Depository and Trust Corporation (PDTC), which acts as registrar and paying agent. They will handle the required notices and compute the amounts payable to bondholders
