As Southeast Asia ramps up its renewable energy transition, Berde Renewables Inc. and PSS Group have joined forces to develop solar, battery storage, and hybrid energy projects. With an initial portfolio of 218 MWp in development, the joint venture aims to deploy 300 MW of clean energy capacity over the next three years, strengthening energy security and decarbonization efforts in the region.
“The energy transition demands bold action and strong partnerships. This joint venture strengthens Thailand’s renewable energy landscape by combining PSS’s deep market expertise with ISQ/Berde’s global expertise. Together, we are not just deploying megawatts—we are shaping a resilient, scalable, and bankable clean energy future for the region,” PSS Group Founder and CEO Sam Yamdagni said highlighting the impact of the collaboration.
The partnership will integrate Berde Renewables’ expertise in clean energy technologies with PSS Group’s engineering and industrial service capabilities, delivering reliable and efficient renewable energy solutions for commercial, industrial, and grid-scale applications. The joint venture will develop and deploy cutting-edge solar photovoltaic (PV) systems, energy storage solutions, and hybrid power plants, providing sustainable and cost-effective electricity to support the region’s growing energy demand.
“This partnership is key to advancing our vision of accelerating the global transition to renewable energy,” said Morris Zhou, Co-founder of Berde Renewables Inc. “By combining our strengths, we aim to deliver innovative, world-class renewable energy solutions and empower organizations and industry leaders to drive decarbonization and sustainability, shaping a greener future,” he added.
As Southeast Asia works toward expanding its renewable energy mix to combat climate change, Berde Renewables and PSS Group are well-positioned to play a key role in advancing sustainable power infrastructure. The joint venture will actively explore corporate power purchase agreements (PPAs), grid-stabilizing solutions, and energy-efficient technologies, ensuring a resilient and sustainable clean energy future for the region.
