CENPELCO, CS First Green Ink Deal for 10MW Solar Power Project in Pangasinan

The Central Pangasinan Electric Cooperative (CENPELCO) and CS First Green Agri-Industrial Development, Inc. have signed a Renewable Energy Supply Agreement to establish a 10-megawatt solar power plant in Bayambang, Pangasinan.
The ceremonial contract signing took place on September 23, 2025, at the HES Auditorium of the National Electrification Administration (NEA) headquarters. The agreement was signed by CENPELCO General Manager Engr. Rodrigo Corpuz and Board President Marlon Magalong; and CS First Green Chairman Cezar Quiambao and President Bernardo Bawing.
NEA Administrator Antonio Mariano Almeda, who witnessed the signing, praised the initiative. “It is expected to deliver a reliable, cost-efficient, and clean energy project that benefit both member-consumer-owners and the environment,” he said.
The event gathered key officials from the energy sector, including NEA Deputy Administrators Atty. Vic Alvaro, Atty. Rossan Rosero-Lee, and Atty. Omar Mayo, as well as CENPELCO’s Board of Directors and department managers. CS First Green was represented by its executives Legal Counsel Atty. Greg Ofalsa, Project Director Deepak Kumar, Atty. Eric Pilapil, and Jorge Yulo. NAGMEC President GM Allan Laniba was also in attendance.
