Power PH – CREIT Maintains PHP 0.049/Share Payout with Strong Lease Income

Citicore Energy REIT Corp. (CREIT) has declared a cash dividend of PHP 0.049 per share for the first quarter of 2025, maintaining its payout level from the same period last year. The announcement reflects the company’s steady performance in generating income from its 14 renewable energy real estate assets.

The dividend corresponds to an annualized yield of 6.2%, based on the March 31 closing share price of PHP 3.16.

This consistent distribution is underpinned by CREIT’s guaranteed lease revenues, supported by 100% occupancy across its 7.1 million square meters of land holdings—the largest renewable energy real estate portfolio in the country.

“CREIT’s third year as the leading renewable energy REIT showcases the consistency of our green business model, which translates positively to our shareholders through stable and long-term leases and consistent dividends. Looking ahead, the growth trajectory of CREIT will mirror its sponsor CREC, providing visibility on asset infusion opportunities, further strengthening leasable income from our lessees and ultimately deliver sustainable returns for our investors,” said CREIT President and CEO Oliver Y. Tan.

CREIT’s sponsor, Citicore Renewable Energy Corporation (CREC), currently has over 5GW of projects in the pipeline, with its first gigawatt under construction. CREIT’s weighted average lease expiry stands at 20.19 years—well above industry norms—helping the company consistently surpass prescribed dividend payouts since listing in 2022.
