FAST Logistics Group wrapped up 2025 with a major sustainability commitment, formally pledging to reach Net Zero emissions by 2050 while expanding the use of electric vehicles and solar power across its logistics network.
The company said the pledge reflects the scale of its operations, which include more than two million square meters of warehouse space, over one million pallet positions across 150 sites, and a transport fleet of more than 3,100 trucks nationwide.
To support the Net Zero target, FAST rolled out several low-emission initiatives during the year. Its ColdChain Hub in Cavite and ColdChain Tayud facility in Cebu are now running on solar power, helping reduce electricity-related emissions while supporting temperature-sensitive food and pharmaceutical logistics.
FAST also deployed electric vehicles into its fleet, including a 40-foot fully electric truck and a high-capacity EV charging station for Ajinomoto Philippines, designed to support large-volume deliveries.
Beyond sustainability, the company said it continued to push inclusive hiring as part of its growth strategy. With a workforce of about 12,000 employees, FAST partnered with the Department of Social Welfare and Development to hire qualified beneficiaries of the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program, opening logistics jobs to underserved communities.
The company also expanded its regional footprint in 2025. FAST opened four new logistics outlets in Nueva Vizcaya, Albay, Camarines Sur, and Sorsogon, working with the Department of Trade and Industry and local government units. The new outlets aim to improve access to logistics services for micro, small, and medium enterprises, including shared shipping options such as Less-than-Truckload and Less-than-Container Load.
In Laguna, FAST launched a new crossdock facility under its Flow by FAST solution for FMCG clients. The facility consolidates shipments and schedules deliveries based on store receiving windows, offering an alternative to direct-to-store distribution and helping reduce delivery costs.
FAST also strengthened its agro-logistics operations during the year, transporting two tons of Guimaras mangoes directly from farmers to Manila for the International Food Exhibition. The company said the shipment highlighted its cold chain capabilities for time-sensitive agricultural products.
Partnerships with Nueva Vizcaya Agricultural Terminal Inc. and Agro-DigitalPH were also expanded to support farm-to-market distribution and government agriculture programs.
In healthcare logistics, FAST participated in PhilMedical Expo 2025, presenting integrated services that include warehousing, multimodal transport by land, air, sea, and RoRo, as well as cold chain and toll manufacturing support.
FAST said 2025 was marked by expansion, new partnerships, and sustainability-driven investments. Moving into 2026, the company said it will continue focusing on end-to-end logistics solutions that support business growth, improve supply chain efficiency, and contribute to community development.
