LANDBANK Wins Best Green Financing Award at ASEAN FinTech Awards 2025

The Land Bank of the Philippines (LANDBANK) has been honored with the prestigious Best Green Financing award at the ASEAN FinTech Awards 2025, held on May 20, 2025, at Hotel Mulia, Jakarta, Indonesia.

According to a post on LANDBANK’s official Facebook page, the bank was selected from 116 submissions across ASEAN for its outstanding contributions to sustainability. The post states, “Out of 116 entries across Southeast Asia, LANDBANK stood out for its steadfast commitment to sustainability through green lending programs, climate-resilient financing, and support for renewable energy initiatives.”

The award was received by LANDBANK Executive Vice President Ma. Celeste A. Burgos and First Vice President Eden B. Japitana, who represented the bank at the ceremony. According to the company’s Facebook statement, “This milestone belongs to every Filipino we serve and to every partner who shares our vision of a greener, more resilient future.”

The ASEAN FinTech Awards, part of the ASEAN FinTech Forum, celebrate excellence in innovation, sustainability, and financial inclusion. The awards recognize “trailblazing organizations and individuals that are shaping the future of finance across Southeast Asia.” 

This recognition marks a significant milestone for LANDBANK, reinforcing its role in driving sustainable economic growth in the Philippines and the ASEAN region.
