A total of 169 households in Novaliches, Quezon City have been energized through the Household Electrification Program (HEP) of One Meralco Foundation (OMF), the social development arm of Manila Electric Company (Meralco).

The project, which provided access to safe and reliable electricity for residents from six barangays, was celebrated in a lighting ceremony attended by Meralco and OMF officials, local government leaders, and congressional representatives.

Residents welcomed the project, describing it as not only a source of light but also a symbol of hope and opportunity for their communities.

Through programs like HEP, Meralco and OMF continue to highlight the role of electrification in driving inclusive progress, especially for marginalized sectors.
