The Manila Electric Company (Meralco) has provided a 30-day extension for deadlines of payments for bills due from March 1 to April 14, after the enforced community quarantine in Metro Manila.
Aside from that, maintenance activities are also suspended unless needed, Meralco announced in a statement.
“We will provide a 30-day payment extension for bills due from March 1 to April 14, 2020. Lahat din ng mga maintenance activities ay ipagpapaliban muna, unless necessary, to ensure we are #KeepingTheLightsOn for all our customers in these trying times,” it was quoted in a report.
Meanwhile, customers can do their transaction via Meralco’s mobile app or through the power distributor’s website, including its authorized payment channels: bit.ly/MeralcoPaymentPartners.
“Stay safe. Stay healthy. #Stayhome. Sama-sama nating talunin ang #COVID19,” it added.
