Prime Infrastructure Capital Inc. (Prime Infra) has solidified its leadership in sustainable infrastructure, with President and CEO Guillaume Lucci named the Most Innovative Sustainability Leader of the Year at the 2025 Asia-Pacific Stevie Awards. The accolade highlights Prime Infra’s pivotal role in addressing energy, water, and waste management challenges through innovative projects tailored to the Philippines’ urgent needs.
Prime Infra secured the Grand Stevie Award for the highest-scoring nomination among Philippine entries, with Lucci earning both Grand and Gold Stevie awards in the sustainability leadership category.
“We are honored by this recognition, which reflects the real impact of our work in delivering essential services through our projects,” said Lucci. “This award speaks to Prime Infra’s commitment to develop and operate infrastructure that addresses critical service gaps and create lasting value for the communities we serve.”
Prime Infra key projects in the energy sector include the Malampaya gas field drilling campaigns, supplying 20% of Luzon’s electricity and remaining the country’s sole indigenous natural gas source. Additionally, Prime Infra is advancing two pumped storage hydroelectric projects with a combined capacity of 2 gigawatts, bolstering renewable energy infrastructure. The Upper Wawa Dam, the largest dam built in the Philippines in over 50 years, ensures long-term water security for Metro Manila and Rizal, indirectly supporting energy-intensive urban centers.
In waste management, Prime Integrated Waste Solutions Inc. (PWS), a Prime Infra subsidiary, earned a Silver Stevie Award for Sustainability & Climate Protection Services. Operating advanced materials recovery facilities in Cebu and Pampanga, PWS reduces landfill volumes and methane emissions through state-of-the-art resource recovery.
The 2025 Asia-Pacific Stevie Awards, drawing over 1,000 nominations from the region, recognized Prime Infra’s contributions among entries from more than 70 countries.
