SN Aboitiz Power Group (SNAP) is setting a new benchmark for digital transformation in the Philippine energy sector — achieving a 451% return on investment (ROI) and recovering costs in just 2.8 months after implementing the Kissflow Low-Code Platform, according to an independent case study by Nucleus Research. The report was presented during a recent event to demonstrate SNAP’s experience as a model for how low-code technology can accelerate business modernization.

For companies managing large, distributed operations like SNAP, the Kissflow Low-Code Platform offers a faster, cost-efficient path to digital transformation. The platform enables enterprises to build, customize, and automate applications with minimal hand-coding, allowing both IT teams and non-technical “citizen developers” to streamline workflows and digitize processes at scale.

SNAP adopted Kissflow to consolidate disparate internal systems and improve process visibility across departments. The company built 114 custom applications to automate manual workflows, improve coordination, and reduce reliance on legacy infrastructure. The initiative also launched a citizen developer program, certifying 19 business users to create their own solutions — decentralizing innovation and reducing IT bottlenecks.

Beyond ROI, the study found a benefit-to-cost ratio of 3.1:1, a three-year internal rate of return (IRR) of 422%, and a net present value (NPV) of USD 381,677. By retiring outdated systems and outsourcing contracts, SNAP achieved annual savings of about USD 61,000, while reassigning in-house developers to higher-impact projects. Departments such as HR and operations & maintenance reported efficiency gains of 5%–10% following implementation.

Rakesh Nandakumar, Associate Vice President for APAC at Kissflow, underscores the business impact of low-code/no-code platform at a media briefing.

“This study validates the measurable business impact that Kissflow brings to enterprises,” said Rakesh Nandakumar, Associate Vice President for APAC at Kissflow. “SNAP’s success shows how organizations can accelerate digital transformation, empower employees, and achieve extraordinary ROI with our platform.”

“Kissflow offers us powerful integration capabilities, enabling smooth connections with other systems and data sources for enhanced workflow automation,” said Maria Theresa Cabigon, Chief Information Officer, SN Aboitiz Group.
