The Philippines’ only publication on the security industry will be holding courses and talks with the region’s experts on March 6 to 10.
SecurityMatters Magazine will hold a courses and forums on video surveillance, the extractive industries security, anti-terrorism for corporate and private institutions, and energy industries security and safety.
Delegates, including industry leaders, corporate executives and stakeholders are set to gather at the symposia. Speakers will discuss using public relations as an asset protection tool and will share their experiences in dealing with threats and challenges in their respective industries.
Other topics include the role of company security groups in security development, cyber terrorism, and the role of BCP in security and safety.
Courses and agenda
Its video surveillance course will tackle surveillance operations for corporate and private industries, like legal and security framework as well as CCTV standards and fundamentals.
The extractive industries security symposium will feature professionals from oil, gas and mining companies, while the anti-terrorism symposium will cater to private corporations and the industrial sector.
The energy security and safety symposium will discuss service and performance standards, the conduct of global standard risk assessment, understanding the role of security forces in community relations, and developing a culture of safety in facilities and communities.
The Asset Protection Courses and Symposia will be at Hotel Jen in Pasay City.
