The 3rd Philippine Renewable Energy Conference, powered by First Gen Corporation, is set to
take place on August 7-8, 2025 at City of Dreams Manila, providing a strategic platform to bring
together key players across government, industry, and private sector to support the country’s
ambition of reaching 50% renewable energy share in the power mix by 2040.
Anchored on the National Renewable Energy Plan (NREP) 2025-2050, the conference serves as
a platform to align stakeholders around a unified vision for a low-carbon, energy-secure
Philippines. The Department of Energy (DOE) is targeting 35% RE share by 2030 and 50% by
2040, which requires a whole-of-nation approach to realize.
The two-day event will feature strategic discussions on solar, wind, energy storage, and energy
efficiency, as well as the enabling role of retail electricity suppliers (RES) in accelerating RE
adoption across commercial, industrial, and public sectors. Policy updates, investment
mechanisms, and grid integration strategies will also be spotlighted to advance renewable
energy deployment.
In addition, the event will highlight innovation through technology showcases and B2B
matching sessions, designed to connect project developers with LGUs, solution providers, and
investors looking to scale clean energy solutions.
As the country’s largest renewable energy producer, First Gen is proud to power this platform
for collective action. With clean energy now seen as both a sustainability and competitiveness
driver, the 3rd Philippine Renewable Energy Conference will underscore the importance of
policy, finance, and innovation in shaping the country’s energy future.
