MSpectrum Inc., a subsidiary of Manila Electric Company (MERALCO), is powering the solar rooftop facility of Japanese firm Citizen Finedevice Philippines Corporation, situated in Sto. Tomas, Batangas.
The newly launched 726 kilowatt-peak (kWp) solar project at Citizen Finedevice’s manufacturing facility is projected to produce around 1.055 GWh of clean energy annually, highlighting the company’s commitment to renewable energy and reducing its carbon footprint.

We do this through our end-to-end solar energy offering which utilizes top-tier quality and reliable services to empower sustainable operations for Citizen Finedevice,” said MSpectrum Chief Operating Officer Patrick Henry T. Panlilio.
MSpectrum added that this partnership aided Citizen Finedevice with the support the firm needed to move towards becoming a greener business.
With the institution of this facility, Citizen Finedevice will be able to mitigate its carbon impact by roughly 751 metric tons per year, which equates to more than 34,500 trees grown and almost 1.8 million kilometers saved on automobile trips.
