RASLAG Corp. has announced that its 36.646-megawatt peak (MWp) RASLAG 4 solar power project in Magalang, Pampanga has secured a Certificate of Compliance (COC) from the Energy Regulatory Commission (ERC), formally recognizing the facility’s compliance with regulatory requirements for commercial operations.

In a disclosure to the Philippine Stock Exchange, the company said it received the COC on June 10, 2026. The certificate covers RASLAG-IV, a solar photovoltaic facility with a rated capacity of 36.646 MWp or 26.4 MWac. The plant has been operational and generating electricity since October 2024.

The company said the grant of the COC formalizes the project’s status as a power generation facility operating in compliance with Republic Act No. 9513, or the Renewable Energy Act of 2008, and its implementing rules and regulations.

The certification also confirms that the facility has met all statutory and regulatory requirements and is entitled to the rights and privileges provided under ERC rules and relevant laws, subject to conditions stated in the certificate.

The milestone means all operating solar facilities under RASLAG have now obtained their respective Certificates of Compliance.

“A Certificate of Compliance (COC) is an important regulatory requirement that confirms a power plant has met the necessary standards for safe, reliable, and compliant operations,” RASLAG announced.

RASLAG projects that the facility will generate approximately 48 gigawatt-hours (GWh) annually in 2026 and 2027, translating to an estimated revenue contribution of around P215 million per year.

The company also estimates that the plant’s annual output will displace about 34,000 metric tons of carbon dioxide emissions and provide enough electricity to power roughly 20,000 households each year.

“This accomplishment is the result of the dedication, hard work, and collaboration of our team, partners, stakeholders, and the communities that continue to support our mission of delivering clean and sustainable energy,” RASLAG said.

The company added that it remains committed to supporting the country’s renewable energy goals.
