AC Mobility is advocating for businesses to upgrade their logistics fleets and transportation systems to electric vehicles (EVs), stressing the significance of integrating this move with ACEN’s retail electricity services.
In a report by Manila Bulletin, AC Mobility Chief Executive Officer Jaime Alfonso Zobel de Ayala said that adopting electric vehicles for logistic operations would fortify sustainability pledges and offer a cost-effective option.
Zobel added that electric mobility (e-mobility), as part of ACEN’s retail power package, is more than just a sustainability option; it is a shift away from carbon-emitting transportation systems, which he said may soon become obsolete.
The AC Mobility CEO said that by partnering with ACEN, the firm can create a fully green charging infrastructure, making sure that every aspect of their mobility journey is environmentally friendly, from acquisition to daily operation.
AC Mobility assured businesses that ACEN and its other arms are committed to working together to build the necessary infrastructure, making the transition convenient and cost-effective.
Meanwhile, ACEN President and CEO Eric T. Francia said that the company is dedicated to partnering with businesses on their sustainability journeys, adding that while the country is still in the early days of the energy transition, it is already a must to align and partner with like-minded leaders and organizations.
