IIEE opens 3E XPO 2025 as organization marks its 50th year

The Institute of Integrated Electrical Engineers of the Philippines (IIEE) opened its 3E XPO 2025 at the SMX Convention Center today on November 26, spotlighting the event’s role in strengthening collaboration and innovation in the electrical engineering sector. This year’s expo carries added significance as it coincides with IIEE’s 50th Golden Anniversary.

IIEE National President Engr. Alberto Herrera Jr. said the expo remains a vital platform for learning and industry engagement. He highlighted the contributions of exhibitors, noting that the milestone year reflects the organization’s longstanding commitment to excellence. “Our exhibitors play a huge role in empowering our practitioners in every field and industry,” he said.

VP–External Affairs Engr. Adrian Rey thanked exhibitors, partners, and volunteers for supporting the Golden Edition. He said preparations began in February to deliver a richer experience for members and guests. “This Golden Edition, thanks to your support—sa inyong suporta—has already been a success even before we opened the doors,” he added.

Rey noted the addition of new activities, including a meet-and-greet dinner and the Golden Jubilee Awards recognizing long-time exhibitors. He encouraged delegates to explore the exhibits and participate in the programs prepared for the community.

Herrera Jr. urged attendees to maximize the event’s offerings, saying the expo reflects the collective commitment of electrical engineers to progress and professional development. He added that IIEE will continue building partnerships that advance both the organization and the industry.

The IIEE’s 3E XPO 2025 and 50th Golden Anniversary will continue from today until Saturday, November 29, at the SMX Convention Center.
