Petron Corp. has renewed its fuel supply agreement with OceanaGold Philippines, Inc. (OGPI), extending a partnership that supports one of the country’s major gold and copper mining operations.

The companies formalized the renewal through a memorandum of agreement signed on November 14 at OGPI’s main office in Makati City. The agreement covers the continued supply of Automotive Diesel Oil (ADO) for OGPI’s mining and processing operations in Luzon, sustaining a relationship that began in 2018.

Petron Vice President for Industrial Sales Virgilio V. Centeno and OGPI Chief Financial Officer and Vice President for Finance Gemma McDonald signed the agreement on behalf of their respective institutions.

Petron described the renewed partnership as a reaffirmation of industry confidence in its capabilities, saying it underscores the company’s commitment to supporting key sectors of the economy through reliable fuel supply and service quality.
