Foundever® Philippines Brings Renewable Energy and Hope to Aeta School in Zambales

Foundever® in the Philippines has extended its sustainability and community development efforts to Zambales, helping energize the Judd Hendricks Memorial Aeta Integrated School with newly installed solar panels and essential learning supplies.

The initiative reflects the same values that earned the company recognition as a Circle of Excellence Awardee for Sustainability Company of the Year at the 2025 Asia CEO Awards and as one of Asia’s Top Community-Centric Companies in the 2025 ACES Awards.

Under the company’s 3G (Go Green Goal) campaign, Foundever®installed a commercial solar panel system to power the entire school—bringing a stable, renewable energy source to an underserved Aeta community that has long relied on limited resources.

The team also delivered extensive school and household support, including 38 boxes of school supplies, 140 school uniforms, 130 pairs of shoes and slippers, more than 300 kilograms of rice, food packs, cookware, emergency tools, fire extinguishers, raincoats, and clothing for students and teachers.

“This initiative, in partnership with one of our clients, embodies our #ForceForGood commitment and our 3G principles—combining renewable energy solutions with direct community support to create lasting impact,” said Filipina Barbo, Senior Director for Operations and Site Director at Foundever® Pasig–Technopoint.

The solar installation gives the school access to cost-efficient, reliable power while reducing its environmental footprint. Foundever® said this is part of its broader effort to bring sustainability beyond office operations and into communities that need it most.

“Supporting indigenous education through sustainable solutions represents the intersection of our environmental goals and our community development mission,” Barbo added.

Beyond this community initiative, Foundever® in the Philippines embeds sustainable practices across its operations—from e-waste recycling and digital adoption to managing certified green buildings and sourcing renewable energy for its offices.

The Zambales project strengthens the company’s position as an industry leader in people-centered sustainability, demonstrating how meaningful partnerships and climate-focused solutions can improve lives, support education, and empower communities.
