Prime Infra Foundation brings Christmas cheer to 80,000 across key Philippine provinces

Prime Infra Foundation, the corporate social responsibility arm of Prime Infra, reached over 80,000 beneficiaries in Metro Manila, Pampanga, Laguna, Batangas, Cavite, Rizal, and Cebu through its annual Christmas outreach program, Paskong Prime Infra.

Now in its third year, the program reflects the foundation’s commitment to host communities, providing essential goods, holiday gifts, and festive activities.

“Paskong Prime Infra reminds us that Christmas is really about coming together. It reflects our gratitude and commitment to our host communities to continue to grow and move forward together,” said Bernadette Tan, head of programs and operations at Prime Infra Foundation.

In Metro Manila, the foundation partnered with non-profit Pangarap Foundation Shelter in Pasay City for the “Grant-a-Wish” initiative, fulfilling children’s requests for new clothes and shoes.

Meanwhile, in Laguna, Prime Infra Foundation and Ahunan Power engaged 33,460 beneficiaries in Pakil, Pangil, and Paete. The outreach included the Indakalyeleño Grand Finals 2025 Christmas Festival, Zumba performances, and distribution of five-kilogram rice and spaghetti packs to PWDs, senior citizens, barangay frontliners, tech vocational scholars, swimming scholars, volunteers, and rural health unit staff. Elementary students received raincoats, while daycare learners and teachers were given loot bags and meals. Medicines and vitamins were also distributed to barangays in Pakil.

In Rizal, the foundation collaborated with WawaJVCo and Olympia Violago Water and Power to distribute rice packs to 25,830 beneficiaries, including Dumagat Indigenous Peoples in Montalban and Dumagat-Remontado communities in Antipolo.

Other regions benefited as well. Prime Solar provided rice and grocery packs to over 12,000 residents in Batangas and Cavite, while Prime Waste Solutions handed out Noche Buena packs to 4,380 recipients in Barangay Binaliw, Cebu, and gift packs containing rice and groceries to 5,000 beneficiaries in Porac, Pampanga.

The annual outreach reinforces Prime Infra Foundation’s focus on community engagement and highlights the role of energy sector stakeholders in supporting social initiatives.

How can other companies in the sector expand social impact programs that both empower communities and strengthen corporate-community relations?
