CN Green Roof Asia has completed the refinancing of its Hermosa Solar Farm Project in Bataan, securing fresh backing from Security Bank Corporation less than a month after the facility began supplying power to the grid.
The refinancing covers the 22.785-megawatt-peak (MWp) project in Bataan, a USD 15.8-million (approximately PHP 893 million) solar development owned by Solana Solar Beta Inc. (SSBI), CN Green Roof Asia’s Philippine project company.
The facility is expected to generate about 32.8 gigawatt-hours (GWh) of electricity annually, enough to supply around 30,000 people with renewable energy.
“Since energising on May 1, 2026, the Hermosa Solar Farm Project (SSBI) has supplied clean, reliable electricity to the local grid, serving surrounding communities and contributing to greater regional grid stability,” CN Green Roof Asia said.
While the company did not disclose the size or value of the refinancing package, the transaction underscores continued lender appetite for operating renewable energy assets in the Philippines, particularly as developers seek to recycle capital and fund additional projects.
The Hermosa Solar Farm forms part of CN Green Roof Asia’s growing presence in the Philippine renewable energy sector. An earlier project disclosure showed the development includes a battery energy storage system alongside its solar generation facilities.

“As the Philippines advances its energy transition, the project demonstrates how strategic investment in renewable energy can strengthen energy security and create lasting value for local communities,” the company statement said.
“We are proud to partner with Security Bank Corporation, one of the Philippines’ leading project finance lenders and a recognised supporter of renewable energy and sustainable infrastructure,” it added.
