the enforcement of enhanced community quarantine (ECQ) in the city to prevent the spread of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19).

The ECQ lasted from April 4 to April 19. All business establishments in Davao were closed during the ECQ, except for medical, food, finance, gasoline, cargo, utilities, and delivery services according to Davao City Executive Order No. 23.
