Power Watch Negros Advocates Secretary General Wennie Sancho said leaders and representatives are having a media conference on June 4, Thursday aiming to raise concerns against the power distribution utility.
Sancho argued that Ceneco has applied “arbitrary and unreasonable” charges when most consumers were jobless due to the current health crisis.
” We will also file petition before the Energy Regulatory Commission (ERC) and National Electrification Administration (NEA) to investigate Ceneco for alleged overcharging,” he was quoted in a report.
Power Watch earlier criticized Ceneco’s “sudden increase” in their current power billing after receiving several complaints from consumers.
