The National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP) restored the 138-kilovolt Baloi-Aurora transmission line on Wednesday following a bombing incident that toppled one of its towers.
In a statement, NGCP engaged in an Emergency Restoration System to help restore the affected line on Wednesday, 4:39 AM.
“It is NGCP’s mandate to provide reliable power transmission services. We are committed to our mandate, and we will continue to deliver on this commitment, despite challenges posed by lawless elements,” NGCP said in a statement.
The Baloi-Aurora transmission line services the entire Zamboanga Peninsula, Misamis Occidental, and some parts of Lanao del Norte.
