Informa Markets has launched PhilEnergy, with the aim of sharing the goal of the government to promote energy conservation strategies.
PhilEnergy, previously known as RE EE Philippines, will be a three-day exhibit that will offer seminars and conferences with its partners Philippine Energy Efficiency Alliance Inc. (PE2) and Society of Philippine Electrotechnical Constructors and Suppliers Inc. (SPECS).
“PhilEnergy remains a valuable event for us because it focuses the spotlight on energy efficiency as an excitingly new and progressive industry within the broader energy market of the Philippines,” said PE2 President Alexander Ablaza.
PhilEnergy was once part of the Water Philippines Trade Show but as the country continuously geared to shift to renewable energy, an independent extensive exhibit is much needed.
“As the world evolves in the new technology era, PhilEnergy is a good platform to help SPECS members and the electrical industry, specifically to engage or find new partners and suppliers for their business opportunities to keep pace with the rapid changes and prosper in the face of increasing competitiveness and for the growth of the country as a whole,” SPECS President Engr. Ariel Duran said.
One of the highlights of the event is the Energy Efficiency Day 2024, a PE2 yearly event to encourage the promotion of energy efficiency as the country’s first fuel. SPECS will also organize a construction forum that would allow members of the organization to engage with other businesses to trade off technologies with the objective of keeping up with energy competition.
