Renewable energy pioneer RASLAG Corp. has started testing and commissioning its fourth solar plant, RASLAG-4, connected to the 69kV line of the National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP). 

Located in San Pablo, Magalang, Pampanga, RASLAG-4 is the company’s largest solar plant to date, boasting a capacity of 36.646 MWp.

RASLAG expects the new plant to generate 53 GWh of electricity annually, enough to power approximately 24,000 homes. In its first full year of operation, RASLAG-4 is projected to bring in PHP 285 million in revenue.

“We are thrilled to have already completed four organic projects to help meet our nat

ion’s growing energy demand,” said RASLAG CEO and President Robert Nepomuceno. He emphasized that the project is another step toward empowering Filipinos through clean energy.

With the completion of RASLAG-4, the company’s total installed capacity has reached 77.844 MW, just two years after becoming a publicly listed company. RASLAG aims to expand its renewable en

ergy portfolio to at least 1000 MW by 2035, with three additional projects already in the pipeline. The company’s next solar plant is slated for construction in Sta. Rosa, Nueva Ecija, by 2026.

The RASLAG-4 facility uses 670-watt monocrystalline solar modules to maximize energy output and ensure long-term reliability.
