Vantage Energy has renewed its supply deal with Bounty Plus Inc., delivering tailored and renewable electricity solutions to seven poultry facilities in Luzon under the well-known Chooks-to-Go and Bounty Fresh brands.
The newly signed retail electricity supply agreement covers Bounty Plus operations in Bataan, Tarlac, and Pangasinan, reinforcing the company’s commitment to operational efficiency, energy reliability, and long-term sustainability.
Bounty Plus is a key division of Bounty Fresh Group Holdings, one of the country’s top food producers and the first in the Philippines to receive the “Reared Without Antibiotics” certification from Lloyd’s Register Quality Assurance. The company’s growing demand for clean, dependable power aligns with its commitment to responsible farming and safe food production.
“As our need for renewable energy continues to grow, Vantage Energy takes active steps to ensure that it is available to us,” said Carl Benedick Chung, Senior Vice President and Deputy Agriculture Head of Bounty Plus. “This shared commitment to renewable power is a bright spot in this partnership, which we hope will continue for years to come.”
Vantage Energy, the retail electricity supply affiliate of Meralco, is providing a customized energy solution designed to meet the operational needs of Bounty Plus’ poultry and broiler farms. The energy package includes competitive rates and renewable energy supply, which supports both cost-efficiency and environmental performance across multiple sites.
“This venture strengthens our foundation for growth, and our commitment to delivering exceptionally superior services deepens while ensuring sustainable operations beneficial not only to Bounty Plus Inc. as an entity, but also to the communities we serve,” said Ernesto M. Cabral, President of Vantage Energy.
The agreement underscores the role of retail electricity suppliers (RES) in helping businesses in the agricultural sector manage rising energy costs while supporting national energy transition goals. It also demonstrates how clean energy can be scaled across production and processing facilities in rural areas.
By partnering with Vantage Energy, Bounty Plus reinforces its dual focus on food security and environmental stewardship—powering critical infrastructure while contributing to a greener supply chain.
