Countries all across the world, including the Philippines, are investing massively in solar energy and other renewable energy projects to address the country’s growing power demand and reduce coal and fuel dependency. This February, local and international solar experts will come together in Manila to share their expertise and innovations on the resource.
The 2nd Philippine Solar PV Energy Summit is looking to bring together government officials, renewable energy stakeholders and experts, investment companies, and solution providers to discuss policies, incentives, opportunities, challenges, and issues surrounding the country’s solar energy industry.
The two-day event also aims to promote the latest solution and practices to further improve the Philippines’ solar energy farms and operations.
Among the experts that will grace the event include Department of Energy Solar and Wind Energy Management Division chief Ferdinand Binondo, Energy Regulatory Commission (ERC) Renewable Energy Division chief Sharon Montaner, PAVI Green Renewable Energy Inc. COO Robert Marlon Pereja, among others.
The 2nd Philippine Solar PV Energy Summit will be held on February 22 via ZOOM, and on February 23 at the Novotel Manila Araneta Center, Cubao. For more information, you may visit the official event website.
