ECCP, Conergy to hold energy congress in Visayas

The European Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines (ECCP) and Conergy have will hold the Energy SMART Visayas on October 13 at the Radisson Blu Cebu.

The congress will focus on the 2016-2030 Philippine Energy Plan of secure, affordable, reliable and sustainable energy in line with the current administrations’ road map of a progressive Philippines.

The congress will focus on the hurdles of maintaining adequate power from generation to distribution; future policies that will ensure sustainable energy framework for Visayas; the exploration to expand future energy sources towards biofuels and solar that can be locally generated to augment the islands’ total energy output; and the success stories of companies with existing energy saving technologies and practices at hand.

Company leaders, representatives from the Department of Energy, law makers, business front – runners, green technology advocates and the public will get the opportunity to address their points in the open forum.

The congress will also showcase exhibition booths on renewable technology.
