Retail Electricity Supplier (RES) Jin Navitas Electric Corporation announced it has signed an agreement with La Rose Noire, a global supplier of luxury baked goods, to supply electricity to its production facility in Clark, Pampanga.

The switch forms part of the Department of Energy’s Retail Competition and Open Access (RCOA) program, which allows large electricity consumers to choose their own power supplier. Founded in 1991 by Swiss pastry chef Gerard Dubois, La Rose Noire, supplies major hotels, airlines, cruise lines worldwide. The company serves more than 60 countries across five continents, with key distribution hubs in Hong Kong, Switzerland, and Los Angeles.

La Rose Noire’s facility in the Clark Freeport Zone is a cornerstone of its global supply chain, known for combining European pastry craftsmanship with Filipino precision and labor. The facility, which also integrates sustainability measures, including solar panels and waste reduction systems, employs over 2,000 Filipino workers and produces a wide array of premium pastry products for export, including tart shells, macarons, viennoiseries, and chocolate creations.
