Prime Infra delivers aid to 10,000 storm-hit residents in Luzon

Prime Infra has provided relief assistance to over 10,000 individuals in storm-affected communities across Cavite, Laguna, Pampanga, and Rizal, following the recent tropical cyclones and enhanced southwest monsoon.

The relief effort, conducted from July 22 to 29, was led by the Prime Infra Foundation in collaboration with Prime Infra’s business units: Prime Waste Solutions (PWS) Pampanga, Prime Solar, Ahunan Power Inc., Olympia Violago Water and Power Inc. (OVWPI), and WawaJVCo Inc.

More than 200 volunteers, including employees, community members, and local government representatives, were mobilized to distribute relief packs containing rice, noodles, coffee, and canned goods.

In Rizal, evacuees in centers also received hot meals and ready-to-eat snacks to meet their immediate nutritional needs.

The targeted barangays included Planas, Camias, Pio, and Calantas in Pampanga; Baño, Burgos, Taft, Rizal, Gonzales, and Tavera in Pakil and Paete, Laguna; San Rafael in Montalban, Pintong Bukawe in San Mateo, and Calawis in Antipolo, Rizal.

In Cavite, residents in Pantihan II & III, Talipusngo in Maragondon, and Pinagsanhan A & B—located near river and coastal areas—also received aid. Some had been unable to work or access food due to persistent rains.

In a separate effort, the Prime Infra Foundation turned over more than 18,000 medicine kits and multivitamins to the provincial government of Laguna to support its health program, especially for senior citizens.

“Beyond providing immediate aid, Prime Infra Foundation supports communities through various initiatives and programs aimed at strengthening community preparedness and resilience,” the company stated.

Prime Infra is the infrastructure arm of Enrique K. Razon Jr., with core businesses in energy, clean water access, and waste management.
