EcoFlow, a global innovator in portable and sustainable power solutions with presence in over 140 countries, has officially opened its first flagship store in Southeast Asia at SM City North EDSA in Quezon City, marking its entry into the Philippine retail market.

The new store, Gadget Pilipinas reports, is located at Cyberzone Annex, offers Filipino consumers direct access to EcoFlow’s range of clean energy technologies—portable power stations, solar panels, and integrated solar generators—amid rising demand for reliable and resilient power alternatives.

Industry data show that the Philippines’ peak power demand reached 16.6 gigawatts in 2022, with total consumption at nearly 88 terawatt-hours. Frequent typhoon-related blackouts and the push for sustainable energy are driving interest in household backup systems such as portable power stations.

Henry Liu, Head of Southeast Asia at EcoFlow, highlighted the company’s commitment to the region. “This opening marks a major milestone in EcoFlow’s Southeast Asia growth. It brings us closer to our local users and allows us to share our store experience across the region to better serve our customers,” he said.

Walter-John Ces, EcoFlow Philippines’ Retail Manager, said the store aims to provide more than just a point of sale. “We are offering live product demonstrations, expert consultations, and meticulous after-sales service—all designed to ensure that Filipino customers don’t just purchase a product but acquire a lasting energy solution,” he said.

The flagship store showcases EcoFlow’s full product line. The DELTA Series targets whole-home backup and recreational vehicle users with higher-capacity systems, while the RIVER Series offers portable options for outdoor and short-trip applications. High-efficiency solar panels and all-in-one solar generators complement the lineup, designed to suit both urban and off-grid needs.

Founded in 2017, EcoFlow serves more than 5 million users worldwide. The company maintains offices in the United States, Germany, and Japan, with manufacturing based in China. Its entry into the Philippines signals its intent to tap into Southeast Asia’s growing market for backup and renewable energy technologies.

EcoFlow’s arrival underscores the growing role of portable clean energy solutions in bridging gaps in power reliability, especially in disaster-prone and energy-intensive markets like the Philippines.

What do you think—will portable power solutions like EcoFlow’s become a key part of the Philippines’ clean energy future?
