The cities of Manila, Pasig, Taguig, Quezon City, San Juan, Valenzuela, Mandaluyong, and Navotas signed the memorandum of agreement committing to adopt energy-efficient practices in their respective zones. The initiative aligns with Republic Act 11285, or the Energy Efficiency and Conservation Act, and supports broader efforts to build cleaner, more resilient urban communities.
