Citicore Renewable Energy Corporation (CREC) has declared its first cash dividend since listing on the Philippine Stock Exchange in 2024, signaling growing returns for shareholders as the renewable energy developer expands its operating asset base.
In a disclosure on Wednesday, CREC said its board approved cash dividends totaling PHP 250 million, equivalent to PHP 0.0224 per share.
The dividend declaration comes after the company posted a consolidated net income of PHP 1.15 billion in 2025 and net comprehensive income attributable to parent shareholders of PHP 740.1 million.
“Our dividend declaration reflects prudent balance between funding the continued high growth phase of the Company, at the same time rewarding shareholders with a decent yield return,” said CREC President and CEO Oliver Tan.
“As we continue to energize more projects, we are converting our pipeline into operating assets that support sustainable growth and shareholder value,” he added.
The company said the dividend declaration follows continued growth driven by the expansion of its renewable energy portfolio and the ongoing development of its project pipeline.
CREC’s board approved the cash dividend on June 17. Shareholders on record as of July 17 will be entitled to receive the dividend, with payment scheduled for August 12.
