Meralco celebrates Pride Month with inclusion activities

Meralco marked its third consecutive year of celebrating Pride Month through workplace activities aimed at promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion among employees.
The celebration was held under Meralco’s #Mbrace Diversity & Inclusion program, which supports women empowerment, LGBTQIA+ inclusion, and PWD inclusion across the company.
This year’s activities included rainbow crosswalks at Meralco’s headquarters in Pasig and sector offices across its service area, employee spotlights, group posters showing solidarity, and the “Safe to Be Me” webinar.
The webinar highlighted awareness, allyship, shared responsibility, and the importance of creating safe spaces in the workplace.
Meralco senior leaders also gathered at the rainbow crosswalk as a visible expression of allyship.
The company said the crosswalk serves as a reminder of its commitment to creating a workplace where employees are valued, supported, and empowered to be their authentic selves.
Meralco said leadership participation in the Pride Month celebration underscores the role of visible action in shaping a workplace culture grounded in respect, empathy, and belonging.
The company added that inclusion is strengthened not only through policies and programs, but also through actions that support employees.
Meralco said it remains committed to advancing its diversity and inclusion efforts and expanding spaces where fairness and respect are practiced every day.
