AEON Center in Alabang Transitions to 100% Renewable Energy With ACEN RES

AEON Center, a landmark corporate building in Filinvest City, Alabang, has made the switch to 100% renewable energy through a partnership with ACEN RES, the retail electricity arm of the Ayala Group. This milestone makes AEON Center the third Innoland Development Corporation property in Metro Manila to fully adopt clean energy, reinforcing its commitment to sustainable commercial real estate development.

Standing 19 stories tall, AEON Center is one of the premier office developments in Alabang, offering 12 floors of leasable office spaces, podium and basement parking, and retail areas on the ground floor. Its strategic location in Filinvest City provides high visibility from the Skyway and Alabang-Zapote Road, further solidifying its position as a key business hub in southern Metro Manila.

With this transition, AEON Center will now operate entirely on renewable energy, reducing its carbon footprint while ensuring energy reliability for its tenants.

“We are thrilled to partner with Innoland Development Corporation in their commitment to sustainability. Switching to renewable energy is a major step toward a cleaner, more sustainable future, and we commend Innoland for their leadership in this effort.” ACEN RES Vice president for Commercial Operations and Head of Account Management Sheila Mina said.

By transitioning to 100% renewable energy, Innoland Development Corporation is setting anew benchmark for environmentally responsible commercial developments. The real estatecompany aims toprovide sustainable office environments that enhance tenant well-being while reducing environmental impact.

Neil Anthony Ong, Vice President for Manila Operations at Innoland, emphasized the company’s vision: “This initiative aligns with our vision to create sustainable and environmentally responsible working spaces. We are proud to offer our tenants a healthy, sustainable work environment and hope this encourages other businesses to make the switch to renewable energy.”

To commemorate this milestone, a ceremonial unveiling of the gold “Powered by Renewable Energy” badge was held at AEON Center. The “Powered by Renewable Energy” badge, a proprietary seal awarded to organizations that have switched to 100% renewable energy through ACEN RES, is the first of its kind in the Philippines. It symbolizes recognition for companies taking proactive steps toward environmental sustainability

The successful transition of AEON Center, along with Polaris and Capella buildings, underscores a growing trend in the commercial real estate sector—prioritizing sustainable and energy-efficient workspaces.
