First Gen Corporation earned the Bronze Award in the Asia’s Best Integrated Report (Large Company) category at the 11th Asia Integrated Reporting Awards (AIRA) held in Singapore on October 24, 2025.
The recognition spotlights First Gen’s excellence in transparent and comprehensive reporting—showing how it creates long-term value through sound governance, sustainability, and financial performance.
Agnes de Jesus, Chief Sustainability Officer of parent firm First Philippine Holdings (FPH), said the award affirms First Gen’s continued leadership in sustainability disclosure. “Our integrated reports allow stakeholders to see not just the numbers but the story of how our clean-energy portfolio and governance practices contribute to long-term resilience,” she said.
First Gen’s reporting framework covers its portfolio of geothermal, hydro, wind, solar, and natural gas assets as well as its efforts to advance the low-carbon transition in the Philippine energy sector.
Rajesh Chhabara, Founder of AIRA and Managing Director of CSRWorks International, commended the company for “advancing the practice of integrated reporting” and setting a benchmark for other regional firms.
FPH, First Gen’s parent, was also recognized as a finalist in several categories, including Asia’s Best Sustainability Report and Best Community Impact Report, spotlighting the group’s shared commitment to transparency and sustainable growth.
The annual AIRA honors organizations that demonstrate leadership in linking financial results with environmental and social impact.
