Fueled for the Future: PTT Powers Up Philippine Expansion

PTT Story Pic Altered

PTT Philippines Corporation, a subsidiary of Thailand’s PTT Oil and Retail Business (OR), is spending Php 1.5 billion over the next four years to grow its footprint in the country, including widening its retail network, launching additional Cafe Amazon stores, and establishing at least one EV charging station.

During the launch of its newest campaign, “Go with PTT,” the company unveiled plans to add at least 280 stations in the near term, with 15 stations scheduled for this year — all strategically located across Luzon and the Visayas. It added that Cafe Amazon, which already has eight branches in the country, will grow to at least 100 more by 2030.

PTT Philippines Corporation President and Chief Executive Officer Athiwat Rattanakorn told reporters that of the P1.5 billion capital investment, roughly Php 500 million will be allocated to growing its number of stations, while around Php 300 million to Php 500 million will be allocated to expanding the Cafe Amazon’s store network.

Committed to carbon neutrality and net zero emissions, the company is also supporting clean energy by putting up at least one electric vehicle (EV) charging station in the country, with the promise to establish more as the demand for EVs grows.

PTT Philippines added it will also expand its number of solar-powered stations from 20 to 120, targeting 3 megawatt of solar capacity before the end of the year.

The company today launched its new brand campaign, “Go! with PTT,” which celebrates the persistent spirit of Filipinos to go the “extra mile” in their life journey.

“That is our common denominator. PTT also aspire to keep on offering the best products and services and the idea of reliability that our customers could count on — a smooth experience that enhances journey, and a hassle-free operation that is focused on what matters most—the path forward,” he said.

“This campaign is not just a marketing ploy. We also want to be part of that journey of Filipinos, providing them products and services that of international standards, giving them savings in the process, and provide opportunities, among others,” Mr. Rattanakorn added.

PTT positions itself as a key player in the Philippine energy and retail sector, supplying major airlines and pushing toward inclusive growth. With continued investments in infrastructure and clean energy, PTT seeks to balance profitability, environmental responsibility, and social impact.
