NEA collaborates with SGCC for solar kits

The National Electrification Administration (NEA) is collaborating with the State Grid Corporation of China (SGCC) on the donations of solar kits to households in Cagayan and Isabela.

In a Business World report, the agency said that the project is akin to another NEA program in which various solar kits are given to state-owned facilities and households within local beneficiaries.

NEA, along with SGCC, signed separate Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) collaborating with Cagayan II Electric Cooperative, Inc. (CAGELCO II) and Isabela II Electric Cooperative (ISELCO II).

According to the corporation, the MoUs would make it easier for the SGCC to provide funds and grants to partner electric cooperatives to establish off-grid PV energy storage and power supply systems within particular barangays.
