Prime Energy retains Goal Zero safety record in Malampaya

PRIME ENERGY

Prime Energy Resources Development B.V., a subsidiary of Prime Infrastructure Capital Inc., achieved a “Goal Zero” record in over 22 years at the Malampaya Onshore Gas Plant (MOGP).

According to a report by the Manila Bulletin, Goal Zero is a policy that guarantees safety against the hazards associated with energy management and consumption, which means the company has had no severe mishaps or injuries to workers, visitors, or contractors.

Prime Energy managing director Donnabel Cruz said that this achievement proved that the company is dedicated to delivering top-notch service, assuring stakeholders of their commitment as an energy provider.

Cruz added that they were able to achieve Goal Zero through clear communication, safety management, and reliable health, safety, security, and environment (HSSE).

The HSSE that was put into place was to make sure that safety concerns are thoroughly studied and reviewed to offer solutions in case trouble occurs.

The Department of Energy (DOE) and the private sector are working together on the Malampaya project, and Prime Energy is in partnership with the Philippine National Oil Company-Exploration Corporation and Udenna Corporation.
