ACEN Receives ‘A’ ESG Rating from MSCI for 2025

ACEN Corporation has received an “A” rating from MSCI ESG Ratings for 2025. This is a recognition that highlights the company’s improved management of sustainability-related risks and opportunities in the energy sector.

MSCI ESG Ratings measure how well companies manage environmental, social, and governance (ESG) risks relative to their industry peers. Ratings range from AAA (leader) to CCC (laggard), and are widely used by investors to assess corporate ESG performance and resilience.

The “A” rating signifies that ACEN is seen as an above-average performer in ESG risk management across important areas such as decarbonization, corporate governance, and stakeholder impact. The company noted that this recognition affirms the effectiveness of its long-term sustainability strategy, especially in managing material risks and aligning with global climate goals.

ACEN has committed to achieving 100% renewable energy generation by 2025 and reaching net-zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2050. With around 7 GW of attributable renewable energy capacity across the Asia Pacific, the company has positioned sustainability as a strategic driver for growth, capital efficiency, and investor confidence.

The company joins other regional and global energy firms that have undergone MSCI’s sector-specific evaluation process, which aims to identify ESG leaders in each industry.
