Bayad Center, a subsidiary of the Manila Electric Co. (MERALCO), has launched its mobile app that will give consumers a more convenient bills payment scheme.
BC Mobile or the Bayad Center Mobile app is a one-stop online shop for a Filipino’s bills payment needs.
“BC Mobile carries under its umbrella the string of billing partners, and the seal of service and reliability that Bayad Center offers,” Wendell Kristian P. Labre said.
The app uses credit or debit cards, and PayPal in paying bills, and it is equipped with a unique system that would protect the data and financial information of its users.
Among the bills that can be paid through the app are electricity bills like Meralco, water utility bills, phone and internet bills, and the like.
Apart from bills payment, BC Mobile also offers a bill reminder feature that would notify customers of their due dates for their payments.
The app also has a Bayad Center branch locator for paying customers who still prefer an over-the-counter or face-to-face payment scheme.
Looking forward, Bayad center will offer remittance or money transfer services, prepaid loading and Instasurance selling in its mobile app.
It will also include a bills payment management feature where customers can view their payment history not just in mobile, but also in other payment channels.
A crowdsourcing tool will also be included in its future updates which will help paying customers to find Bayad Center branches that have lesser queues and other information needed.
The BC Mobile is available for download on Google Play and App Store.
